Cupping Massage
Manipulation of the body’s soft tissue to stimulate circulation and promote relaxation. Deep Tissue Massage helps with releasing muscle tension, provides deep pain relief, loosens scar tissue and lengthens muscles. It’s also good for chronic and overuse injuries.
A light to medium pressure massage which promotes circulation and lymph movement. Great for stress-related conditions and relaxation.
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue and organs. It is a practice in which special cups are put on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up, increasing blood flow to affected area while stretching the underlying muscles. This draws impurities and toxins away from the nearby tissues and organs towards the surface for elimination by the lymph system.
Pregnancy Massage
Therapy specifically tailored for the expectant mother’s needs. It reduces anxiety, decreases symptoms of depression, relieves muscle aches and joint pains, improves labor outcomes and newborn health. Studies show, in women who received bi-weekly massages for only five weeks, hormones such as nor-epinephrine and cortisol (“stress hormones”) were reduced and dopamine and serotonin levels were increased (low levels of these hormones are associated with depression).
